Located in Corbeni, 1 km from the Antonesti Monastery, Pensiunea Dandu offers a garden with a children’s playground and barbecue facilities. Perfect located right on the Transfagarasan. There are secured parking for motorcycles behind gate. It seems popular with motorcycle travelers doing the Transfagarasan. My room had a small balcony perfect for a afternoon beer after all the riding. Cold beers can purchased cheap across the street in a shop. There is a cafe 50 m away, which do simply hot meals.

Located not too far from the village and the main street on a gravel road, enough to feel total silence in the middle of the nature, that's exactly what we were looking for. The house was recently built and the owners are constantly improving it. Shared spaces both indoor and in the garden are very big and nicely organized including a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room with fireplace. The room and private bathroom were comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly and happy to give suggestions to better enjoy the area. We had a great experience and totally recommend this place to anyone.

Great for anyone on the Transfaragasan & TransAlpina as it sits between them both, if you’re a biker I also thoroughly recommend it. It’s quiet, has a great little open fire barbecue area and the hosts are gem’s. The main house is modern and very comfortable, bed was good and a nice hot shower. Thank you so much
