Nomad Hotel & Glamping, hotel in Noszvaj

The charming Nomad Hotel & Glamping & Campsite with its outdoor pools and an indoor hot tub is situated at the southern slopes of the Bükk Hills, 10 km from the famous Baroque city of Eger.

This was our second time at Nomad and definitely not the last. The place is an absolute gem and it's run by the friendliest people. Here, you will really feel like part of the extended family, not just a guest out of many. I just love the atmosphere, the imaginative little details/small touches, the food (!) and also, I must mention how dog friendly it is! Our dog was basically off the lead the whole time, even in the restaurant and the escape room! He quickly became everyone's friend, and it wasn't just the owners who loved dogs but all the other guests too. Our boy had the time of his life, and we all felt like home from the first second. Thank you, Nomad! 😊

Oxigén Family Hotel Noszvaj, hotel in Noszvaj

The Oxigén Family Hotel Noszvaj is located in a picturesque surrounding, 11 km from the town of Eger and provides stylish accommodation units, a wellness area and an on-site restaurant.

The hotel offers a lot if you travel with children, a lot of extras that in other hotels cost plenty. The sauna personnel were very cool, very helpful. The hotel is next to a village (Noszvaj), that is famous for having the cleanest air in Hungary. Neighbouring the hotel there is a riding hall, where even small kids can ride (mini) horses.

Hotel Minaret&Étterem, hotel in Noszvaj

This property is 9 minutes walk from the beach. Facing the Ottoman-period minaret or the Castle of Eger, the rooms at Hotel Minaret&Étterem come with private bathroom, satellite TV, a fridge and free...

The hotel is a filthy infection bomb. It's nothing you can appreciate there. 1. They tried to bill us before arrival even if it's mentioned that you have nothing to pay in advance. 2. The room (double) was under the roof, no air, hot, full of old furniture in bad condition. 3. The fridge was out of order (water inside and on the floor) 4. Found one hair on the sink in the bathroom, the sink faucet was rusty 5. Old towels in bad condition 6. Lights worked partially 7. Problems to close the door 8. The receptionists didn't say hello The biggest issue is the filth. The rooms are stinking. I've never imagined that this still exists in a European country. Booked 3 days, stayed 2, all hotels were booked because of the Eger wine fair but I wanted to get out after 2 minutes. It was a torture to stay there.

Noszvaj is a beautiful town just below the Bükk Mountains. It has a lot to offer: it is worth visiting the cave-houses, the local Gazda-house but also surounding towns as well (for thermal baths, historical cave houses and the "kaptárkő" culture). Hiking is also possible. Eger and the neighbouring towns are close with various activities.

Very beautiful village. We walked enjoying the delightful roses and interesting houses. We also went into hiking in the mountains. There are shops and restaurants at the place. You can buy good local wine and homemade cheese. It's easy to get to Bogacs with its thermal pools and wonderful Eger even without a car, by bus. But as in any village it can be rather noisy because of neighboring dogs.
