We enjoyed our stay here, everything that was needed was in the apartment. It’s in a great location with a great massage place attached to the building. :)

Set within 2.9 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 7.2 km of Lake Kawaguchi, LINK HOUSE features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Fujiyoshida. Link House felt like a 'Home away from Home'. As mentioned by other guests Yumiko is a lovely and kind host, her house has a homely feel with all the mod cons and her English is amazing. We really enjoyed our discussions about all things Japan and 'just life in general' while enjoying the warmth of the kotatsu. She gave us some great tips for our visit around Fuji-san and made reservations for us at a popular local restaurant, named Yabu (traditional Japanese food, a real crowd pleaser, don't miss it). Our stay at Link House is one to be repeated :-).

Guest House Zen is a beachfront property situated in Yamanakako, 18 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 21 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The most beautiful Japanese room I've stayed in, on a stunning location and so cheap! Too bad Fuji wasn't showing, but it did not detract from the whole experience. The host was so friendly and helpfull, thank you for your tips!

Located in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.7 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Fuji Guest House Ao provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. Top few of mount Fuji. Kindest staff I've been with in Japan! Got a cute present and an umbrella on the day I left. Room was just great and comfy.

晴家(HALELUYA) Guest House in Fujikawaguchiko provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. Incredibly kind family, free bikes available, very clean and comfortable

Hana Hostel Fujisan ligger i Yoshida og har en felles stue. Overnattingsstedet har et felles kjøkken og tilbyr billettservice. Hakone ligger 40 km fra gjestgiveriet, og Fuji ligger 38 km unna. Potentially the best hostel we’ve ever visited. Great location by the train station. Comfortable rooms and good kitchen/living facilities. Best of all by far is the couple who run the hostel though. Couldn’t have been more helpful at recommending what to do during our stay in Fujiyoshida. Very friendly to chat to and are genuinely interested in what your plans are. They even gave us a little souvenir upon leaving to thank us for staying. We were also provided with free use of some bikes which were a great way to explore the town. For anyone who likes Studio Ghibli there’s also plenty of pictures and memorabilia to find around the hostel.

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Very comfortable 2-night stay. The property was clean and in a great location. Masaya was very friendly and provided transportation from the train station.The guesthouse was spacious and I loved the laid back vibe.

Open from July 2017, Guesthouse Murabito is nestled just a 2-minute stroll away from Lake Yamanaka. A great guesthouse in the lakes area! We're so glad we didn't stay in the much busier Kawaguchi lake area and stayed here, where it was far quieter and laid-back. The owners are a lovely couple who are well travelled and clearly know how to run the perfect guesthouse with a chilled hostel-like atmosphere. Our room was lovely, our first traditional Japanese style room. The whole place is spotlessly clean, warm, and cosy. We also loved the common area with kotatsu (like a Spanish brasero), books, and large, well-equipped kitchen.
